Love Cambodia is a Christian non-governmental organisation based in Prey Veng province, located in the Southeast of Cambodia, about two hours east of Phnom Penh, Cambodia’s capital city. Founded in 2007 Love Cambodia was founded on the principles of Christ’s love and compassion towards the poor and less privileged. Prey Veng’s economy consists primarily of agricultural farming, fishing, as well as rice and fruit cropping. However, rural villagers generally depend on subsistence farming to survive. Love Cambodia aims to serve the 1,123 villages in the province through projects that support more stable and sustainable livelihoods.
